Please note that online donations incur transaction fees charged by the payment provider. These fees vary depending on the payment method you choose. The fees are lowest when you make your donation via online bank transfer, either by entering the IBAN number (CH67 0900 0000 6032 4630 5) or by using a QR payment form (downloadable here).
For other payment methods, the following transaction fees are charged to Horyzon:
- Basic platform fee charged by RaiseNow for all online payment methods: 2.5%
- Twint: an additional 1.3%
- Credit cards: an additional 2.9% + 0.30 francs per transaction
- Generating a payment slip: 0.20 francs per transaction
With the “cover the fees” option, you can cover the transaction fees and ensure that 100% of the donation goes to Horyzon.

Yes, Horyzon has been awarded the Zewo quality label, which means your donations are tax-deductible. Every year in January, Horyzon sends all its donors a donation receipt detailing the donations made during the previous year. You can attach this document to your tax declaration.

Horyzon is a member of SwissDonations, an organization that promotes and facilitates donations in Switzerland. When a donation is made through SwissDonations, the full amount is transferred to Horyzon. Administrative tasks, such as issuing donation receipts, are handled by SwissDonations.
