Change in Horyzon management: Andrea Rüegg hands over to Chiara Borner

After almost seven years, Horyzon is saying goodbye to Andrea Rüegg as Managing Director. With her great commitment, her expertise and her tireless efforts, she has played a key role in shaping Horyzon over the past few years. Andrea not only played a key role in the development and implementation of strategically important measures, but also visited the projects in Palestine, Nepal, Colombia and South Sudan on various occasions to support the partner organizations. Her extensive expertise in development cooperation, her excellent leadership skills and her sense of humor will leave a gap. Chiara Borner will take over the management of Horyzon in March 2025. She brings valuable experience in project management and organizational development and has in-depth knowledge of the NGO and foundation sector. With her specialist knowledge and expertise, she will continue to drive Horyzon's work forward and provide new impetus.
